Hi UK Theme Parks awsome video i cannot wait to see what the new rides are going to look like i hope thay are not going tio get ride of the Galaxy that is what the trabant/mexican hat ride was called before it was changed i use to love that ride i do hope thay dont get rid of it i really miss the one at minehead it was my really top favorite it broke my heart when it was removed i found out what happend to it when it was breing dismantled for winter mantenence a crack appeared in the part where the cars attach or somthing like that like i said great video cannot wait for the next one

I hope they are refurbishing the Mexican hat it's been at butlins for many many years one of my all time favourite rides

Did you stay for a few days Adam or was it a day visit?Most off peak dates they won't allow you to stay without children now unfortunately. Oh the waltzer just so much wrong with that! Will take a look perhaps as a day visitor next Sept when up that way. Enjoyed a behind the scenes look

I did stay the week, they said they would call to confirm it was just me, they never did then when I got there loads of coupleless kids as well!

The waltzer cars have been the same cars since I've been going 11 years ago now. The rock and tug went 2017-18 and I don't believe it's coming back

They are certainly kept in good condition!

The track is from an old little train ride that got removed a couple of years ago and the simulator was removed around 2019

Over the next few years butlins will be investing lots because of the new owners the Harris Family Trust.
