Butter Pecan Ice Cream - Homemade! No Ice Cream Maker Required

In this video, I use my base Philadelphia-style ice cream recipe and add in pecans toasted in butter. It doesn't need an ice cream maker and doesn't require cooking a custard. Just make sure your bowls will fit in your freezer together!!
This comes out so creamy and sweet, and a hint of salt with the pecans. Store-bought butter pecan ice cream is just no comparison. We put this ice cream on top of our fresh Mango Pie with Vanilla Bean Crust. It was an excellent pairing. In case you missed that video from last week, here's a link:
