I'd like to disagree yes livyatan would be smarter but I wouldn't really regard megalodon as dumb since it does sneak up stealthily below and behind whales back then as its hunting strategy and knows it limits to where if it's out numbered it would most likely run and plus a fight would be rare between the two because injury usually leads to death so they won't mess with each other but if there wasn't much to eat and there just there then the megalodon would attack and a single attack would be enough to kill livyatan by either using its strong jaws a large teeth to literally rip the tail or tare off finds and such and wait till the whale bleeds out and I don't livyatan would attack first cause its higher intelligence and situational awareness would probably keep it from trying to mess with megalodon but yeah megalodon is not necessarily dumb it's quite intelligent but not to the extent that most mammals have just smart enough to make it a extremely effective predator plus most modern sharks are probably smarter then megalodon but there around the same region they can learn and even in some cases make friends or put trust into something else but yeah just to add evidence great white watch larger and older ones to perfect there strikes against seals so they can be successful but yeah we say many things are "dumb" but they are smart in there own rights and what they need its easy to say cause some of us do calculus as a living -_- or something else
