This puzzle took me a little longer than I'd like to admit but the hammer work was seriously jaw dropping. There were a lot of places that looked like you could easily get stuck but I never did which just goes to show they know exactly what they're doing. Amazing map you've chosen as always!

Agree, Jofish did an incredible job with this map, incredibly talented creator. I have to admit, i haven't gone looking for maps myself in ages now lol, there's so many on my to-do list, it was iafelix that found this one for me As always, thank you for still watching these!

I love the maps that have a mix of old and new Aperture that have caved into the same place something about the juxtaposition of the very different eras in the same test makes it feel so different than most other puzzles you see

Well this was a lovely surprise - I had no idea you'd covered this map. Thanks for all your kind words and, as with the Midas Exhibition, your thoroughness in solving the puzzle and examining all the details. I can see in your list somebody has recommended Wheatley's Demise, which your commentary regarding a certain 'misshapen scrotum' made me think you'd enjoy (even if it is a severe step down in quality from this, being old enough to go to school).
@ngeruma

Hey Jofish, sorry for taking so long to reply to you. I have become a big fan of your work! you make fantastic and wonderfully unique maps, with really enjoyable puzzles too. I've been meaning to get to Wheatley's demise. Both Klunky and Mystical Ace have recommended it because of my feelings towards the blue git :D Thank you so much for watching, really pleased you do enjoy these, also that's one gorgeous looking emitter you made! Thanks again dude, i really do appreciate it!

8:02 Yes, that is upside down! As back in the 50s -80s they didn’t have any prototypes of a funnel, so reasonably they couldn’t put a button on the ceiling. But this is cave we’re talking about, so there is always a doubt.
@ngeruma
@ngeruma 2 жыл бұрын
Amazing detail work from Jofish in this one, when i spotted the upside down bit i didn't even consider it was a chunk of chamber that had come crashing down with us from way up in more modern aperture. fantastic hammer work and fun puzzle too. As always, thank you for watching!

4:25 that's something Wheatley would say. You're confirming my theory of you being Wheatley in human form. Very good chamber. Excellent hammer work with a nice puzzle.

Thanks for mentioning me 😁 (I was iafelix209) Also the chamber from New aperture fell down on top of old aperture and old aperture fell on top of it so that's why it's upside down.
@ngeruma
@ngeruma 2 жыл бұрын
hey iafelix209, thank you so much for reccomending this one, great find! I love this kind of map, Jofish did an incredible job with it. When i spotted that bit was upside down i didn't even consider it was from all the way up in more modern aperture, great detail! Thanks again, much appreciated!

0:15 - I knew from the setup that it was going to play that animation from the campaign. The right thing to do would've been to have added an invisible wall so the player couldn't die like that. Oh well! 0:38 - Welp, nevermind! 2:21 - It was driving me nuts! 3:45 - "Ass upon here" :P 4:06 - You sir are a Mr. PotatOS head 8:08 - Oh my god, I hadn't noticed that. But you're absolutely right! Old Aperture didn't have funnels so it wouldn't make sense to have a button on the ceiling. So yeah, that section is upside-down! 10:05 - When you got the franken turret, you could've lifted it up with the funnel where it spawned, then dropped him with momentum onto Wheatley's monitor :P 15:05 - They're from the monitors attached to vacuum tubes. They're in the campaign 16:59 - Juggling? 17:01 - Juggling. Great video as per usual!
@ngeruma

0:15 we died? oh the gun being lowered was actually the player dieing? 2:21 they do kind of sound like insects don't they 3:45 i honestly said "US upon here" i swear lol 4:06 i die more due to incompetence than any intended trap don't i 8:08 awesome detail from Jofish 10:05 i dislike wheatley, not the frankcubes ;) 15:05 love that a schematic for a chair is included in those lol 16:59 17:01 its really more of a bobbing motion though, i'd call it juggling if we were somehow looping it over and over through two angled panels facing each other i think As always, very big thank you sir!

This map looked amazing and so much detail! Jofish also made that "The Midas Exhibition" map from a while back, clearly a very talented Hammer-er :) Honestly i thought swapping to a "funny thing" at the end of videos was a good idea but it's so hard to have something lol Sorry for the obligatory late reply to this one :)

What next? 100th episode you changed the thumbnails, episode 200 you changed the intro, whats going to be changed in episode 300? I think its gonna be the outro.
@ngeruma
@ngeruma 2 жыл бұрын
I haven't thought that far ahead to be honest, i'm not sure but i will find something to upgrade for 300. I've actually been thinking of updating the outro bit sooner, the chamber at the end could really do with being made more interesting looking, but no one really stays watching long enough to see it so there is no rush :) If you have any ideas for things to improve then please do let me know Thank you for watching so many videos lately, much appreciated!
