What a beautiful dance. I just returned from New Mexico where the young lady in the video was our tour guide on a raft trip on the Rio Grande. She is very passionate about her culture and passing down the heritage to her siblings. Thank you for everything.

Kunah ah! Oh how I miss our dances. I'm from tewa owinge in first mesa. My brother, RIP, Eddison Torivio Jr. ,was the drummer for years and was fortunate to learn and sing these songs. We lost him to the Covid Virus. Seeing this and hearing the song was heartwarming. Kunah ah!

Maemae pat be shadeh nat Bubba waba! ❤️🙏🏼🦅 (Uncle Pat dances like bubba!) Bubba was the first to do the wasa (zig zag) during entry songs for butterfly last time he was asked to dance before he passed in 2020. Rest his soul. Glad he lives in thru our memories! #BubbaGallegos! #QwedíSenNat!
