I have never seen a night time dance before....This is really powerful...I do not know exactly why , but I feel like crying when I see and hear this dance.....perhaps I cry because I know I will never see this in my present lifetime again..and it makes me sad to know that..... I used to live in New Mexico, where I got to experience the intense BEAUTY of these Ceremonial dances, and did take part in Sacred Ceremonies with the People there.... I was transformed by the expereince.....Now I live in France, and I do not think I will ever be able to go back......I will miss this place forever as long as I live......When I make my Spirit World Journey, I will be able to go back there ....."Death", is freedom....free to travel, no passport, no vaccine, no airplane ticket...no money needed......just"think" of where you want to go, and in less than asecond , you are there...... Spirit World i like that..... Death is NOT what the Christians have taught us, their story of "Heaven" and "Hell"......is false.....a lie..... The REALITY of the Spirit World is quite different from that..... Heaven, and Hell do exist, but NOT in the way the Christians have told us..... They both exist, in a Timeless Dimension, in the way that WE CREATE THEM by the way we live our lives...and , both Heaven, and Hell.........are not far off out in space , or under the ground, they are RIGHT HERE in the place where we now live.... "Without Earth, there can be no Heaven."....John Trudell..............True words, from a wise man....When we die, we will STILL BE RIGHT HERE .......on this Earth, our ONLY HOME in this Universe...That is why, the Elders tell us, that "Tghose who have gone on, ( to the Spirit World)....are STILL HERE"....

the European invasion, and theft of all the lands, the mass genocide kiling of the Native people, did so much damage, caused so much pain, and suffering, but DID NOT ruin the culture.... The culture, as you will see, if you go there, is very much alive and intact, despite the efforts of the whites, (the Christians), to wipe it off the face of the Earth..... Such a powerful spiritual culture, will always live on...as long as the Sun rises, the PEOPLE WILL LIVE.........The public Ceremonial dances, like this one, and the private Sacred Ceremonies done all year , by the tribal people, is what keeps it alive....It is a beautiful and magical thing to see, hear, feel, and experience..... The intense love and connection to the LAND and SKY..........is something that you feel in your Heart, when you go there , and this magical power that comes from the Spirits who come to be part of the Ceremony, stay in your Heart and Mind forever.......

This a Comanche dance? I used to see a Hopi group dance at Laguna Pueblo. Really pretty to see them dance up at the plaza in Laguna Pueblo. My brother and I as kids would go up to plaza and sit on the wall. Watch all the dances throughout the day. I always liked the buffalo and deer/antelope dancers. See all the elders huddled in blankets and the group of men singing. Smell pinon and cedar wood burning from the village homes. When you go home its an escape from all the craziness from the outside world. All is left are the dances and prayers for the whole world. To all the people all over the world.

It's nice they concentrated on dancing instead of wasting time on other accomplishments like fine art, technologies, architecture. medicine, political science, exploration, writing, metallurgy, culinary production, transportation, landscaping, inventions, city planning, science, sophisticated music, fabric manufacture and fashion, comedy, housing, and diplomacy. But they do have pretty dead bird feathers.

THAT LOOKS LIKE SILLY DANCING TO MOST, EVEN UNTO SOME WHO HAVE THOUGHTS OF HOW TO DANCE BEFORE THE CREATOR GOD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH. REMEMBER A MAN NAMED DAVID DANCED BEFORE THE ARK OF THE COVENANT IN A WAY THAT EVEN HIS WIFE SAID YOU SHAMED YOURSELF IN FRONT OF THE WOMEN WITH YOUR DANCE. DAVID REPLIED I WOULD DO IT AGAIN BEFORE THE LORD, AND THOSE WOMEN YOU ARE REFERRING TO THEY HONOR ME. DAVID IS REMINDING HE WAS THINKING OF GOD NOT LIKE A CREEP THINKING YOUR OWN THOUGHTS FOR HIM!!!!
@anttivirkkunen81632 жыл бұрын
All native ppl throughout the world have sung and danced to praise the Creator, and thank him for all creation. In white man's culture it is mostly the opposite, for a reason. It tells so much of white man's world. My respect 🙏🇫🇮
