There’s apps that have thousands of drink recipes. I’ve remembered 100s of drink recipes I either learned or came up with while bartending for 12yrs. He’s doing nothing more than putting the drinks in different vessels and maybe changing the colors of the drinks.

butterfly pea flower fact : in my country Indonesia, we called it " Kembang Teleng ". We used it to cure eyes sore which happen to our child or babies in traditional ways and it amazingly works . Just take a few petals of this flower, let it soak in warm water for a night or until the water turn into blue color or darker . Then take a clean cloth or gauze cloth into them, squeeze it gently, then put ( or stick them ) to the eyes . Repeat the method when the cloth dried up . sorry if my english was bad

I love the presentation of this drink but I don't drink alcohol. I also have never seen Tipsy use any of this stuff before so, I was a bit let down when he didn't describe what it was. ​@@thatdudebrofor a fun drinkable version of this you can swap the gelatin, sprite and vodka for a nice gin (preferably with floral notes) and club soda then serve the lemon juice separately so whoever is drinking it can enjoy making the color change. Oh and if you wanna be fancy or add some sweetness I reccomend garnishing with a sugar crystal stir stick. Thisbis actually my favorite drink

butterfly pea flowers!!! the start of one of my fav Culinary magic tricks!!! the tea made from the flowers is known to change color once lemon juice is added!! its such a cool thing to play with when youre cooking or making recipes

Any edible flowers that are blue will have the same reaction to lemon. I do it with wild violets and grape hyacinth.

@brumslybrumbino9516 hey there! Butterfly pea is a type of pea plant that produces really beautiful purple and blue flowers. They're often dried and used as tea! It has health benefits like for weight loss and as an anti-inflammatory. It's really yummy and can also be used to color certain dishes blue / purple like rice. It's very common in East Asian countries. It tastes very similar to Chamomile, with a little bit of Lavender notes! And you're definitely not stupid, I just used to work at a Tea store ❤️

You should probably actually sweeten the jello. Those jello cubes are going to be absolutely flavorless. Butterfly pea flower tea is extremely subtle in flavor, so all you can really taste is the lemon if you use that to make it purple. If you added sugar, it would at least taste like lemonade. It’s literally just going to taste like lemon water.
