Butterfly Kites

We have three colourful butterflies from the huge choice available from HQ.
We've added a tip at the end because not everyone finds them easy to assemble.

This is the first video that actually gave a helpful advice on how to assemble. I did it that way on the first try but then got worried trying to reverse it to disassemble the top cross spars out that I would break it so glad to see someone else assembled it this way. It says ages 5 years but no 5 year old I know will get that and alot of first time flying parents are likely not to know either. Great video.

Thanks for your kind words about our video. It's good to know that our goals of being helpful to both beginners and intermediate fliers are appreciated. I think the claim about five year olds is probably that children of that age (as well as adults) are able to fly them. What we like like is that it teaches youngsters and newbies to kites that it's fine to stand still and pay out the line when launching. Although kids still like to run with the kite behind them - and that teaches them that it's better to run in to the wind. I agree entirely about the assembly aspect for persons of any level but it's an integral part of the design. This is why we felt the need to add the instructional part at the end of the video. Allan, I have two Kaixuan witches. Inside each witch, behind the air vent in the hat there are two white lines that link to a third single line. I do not find any place on the inside where this lower string ties off. Could it be that the inside lines exist only to help manage the flap behind the wind screen? Do they tie off somewhere? Once Kaixuan have your money you can give up any hope of assistance. I have had similar occasions where suddenly, they do not speak English anymore. I found after sales appalling. I will, of course look at mine to see if I can advise next time out.
