encantar is a verb that takes an indirect object, like gustar. if you look up “verbs like gustar” you will find a ton of resources talking about it. basically it’s about subjects and direct + indirect objects. in a sentence like “Ella vive en España” the subject is Ella (she) the verb is vive (lives) and the direct object is España. in cases like with encantar or gustar, the more direct translation of these verbs would be like… a ella le gusta su trabajo = to her, her job is pleasing/her job is pleasing to her. the verb here is gustar (to please) the trabajo (job) is the subject while ella is the object. with encantar and gustar, the order of the subjects and objects are flipped essentially. you also don’t need to put “a él” because like everywhere else in spanish, you can omit pronouns. le encanta tu regalo works just as fine. your gift enchants him

that’s why when you have a plural (ex: me gustan los libros) gustar becomes conjugated for the plural. because the verb applies to the books because the books are the SUBJECTS while i am the object. los libros me gustan a mí = the books please me. a mí me gustan los libros means that exact same, just the more common way to order the sentence.

butterfly spanish actually has a video on this btw! just look up butterfly spanish gustar. also the a is in front because that’s just how spanish works. you usually just use pronouns, but you can also add extra clarification when there is an object. for example i could say “Yo la miro” which means i look at her. you could also add extra clarification or extra for emphasis. “Yo la miro a ella” works as emphasis or “Yo la miro a Mariana” works for clarification. for encantar, you can add “A él” or “A (name)” in order to clarify who likes the gift. but you can also omit it

Literalmente dirías, "I would like to invite you to a great bakery for coffee and bread." the word 'Ya' is pronounced "Ya" AND "Ja" ?

depends on accent. y can sound closer to english y or closer to j or somewhere in-between. all are correct. also, majority of spanish speakers pronounce y and ll the same, so one who pronounces “ya” like “ja” will pronounce “ella” more like “eja” rather than “eya”
