I love these lessons bc there’s a lot of other spanish words and expressions around the written examples. Like when she used ¡No, olvídalo! Hearing the expressions helps!! The word for tack is also new for me. I love all the information.

Hi, Ana! In English we would say we “don’t want to catch it.” If someone is sick (and could be contagious) you could “catch” the sickness, if exposed. 💜

Hello Ana / Anna, 1st timer and not sure. Anyway, I’m a manager of many Hispanic speaking employees and have been using Google translate, for a few years…but haven’t take the time to LEARN Spanish. I’ve seen the words a million times, but never knew what they meant specifically or how to use them. This was my first lesson and made so much sense! You are good and “ ‘splain it” (JK) it very well. In ways that I can understand. You’re a very good teacher. Thank You! Gracias! PS: You’re quite funny, too. 29 Fast and Furious movies? Lol. I’ve never watched them either, but that was hilarious. (Looked it up, there are 10 or so)
