#4 WHAT AN ADVENTURE!

Three of the wonderful places we have been on the “Let's go Chasing Waterfalls” roadtrip. Three extremely different destinations. A sweet, picturesque historic setting, the awesome power of nature, and a magical place with almost a paranormal feeling. The last one is awesome.

You & the ladies you are traveling with give me hope that I can hike again someday soon. It was a big leap just to get in my van (I have to use a step stool) but hope is alive! I named my van Esperanza which means hope in Portuguese. Oh, I also have butterfly lights in the van, so I feel part of your tribe even though you don’t know me yet! Maybe someday. Ps: I’m 71 years old & have been in my van almost 2 months now. Currently caravaning with my daughter in Colorado.

There's supposed to be all sorts of ghosts of dead people that inhabit the area. They have tourists hikes and such to attract visitors. Much luke in St. Augustine Florida where you can take a ghost tour around the city. Some people enjoy those types of spooky experiences.

I just got a state parks disability pass in WA, where I live, that gets me into state parks here for free, and I also got the national parks pass (can't remember what it's called). But, I'm wondering what you do when you travel to other state parks? Do you just pay for all the state parks in all the states? How much do they usually cost? Thanks!

Cost varies with different states. National Forests are a good deal. Half price with the senior pass, and if you share with a friend, you split it. 👍
