Butterscotch burfi with milk powder

i tried this recipe came out well. i only skipped butterscotch essence as i don't have. only i noticed is milk powder taste was visible & bit sticky in mouth doesn't mean i cook properly milk powder ? or it tastes like wise only ? my kids love this a lot. just finished making.
