Buttery Seasoned Rice

This is a homemade version of the flavoured boxed rices like Rice-A-Roni and Uncle Ben's - with the added bonus that you know exactly what's in this!! Rice so tasty you will want to eat a meals' worth straight out of the pot!

This looks delicious and easy. I can't do a lot of recipes because of an onion allergy. Powder is okay though. This recipe will be just fine. Thanks for the video.

In most recipes you just can skip the onions ;) . Of course it won't taste the exact same but mostly it's just for the aroma/flavor so if it's not the main ingredient just skip it. You can't be missing lots of dishes only because of the onions. I sometimes leave out certain ingredients of the recipes just because I don't like them. That's the good thing about cooking yourself, do it your way!

Hey, it's just fabulous... suggestion though... add butter with the water and post cooking just drizzle a lol bit of garlic/herbed butter.. This way ur rice won't break.. And also avoid covering it... this makes the rice kinda firm and less squishy

The recipe is great as far as flavor but that's no where near enough water to cook 2 cups of rice, i followed it and ended up with brittle mush, repeated with 4 cups of water...👍🏿
