Their prize was a Stars team clearly running on fumes from facing Vegas and Colorado. Florida is at least a full level better than Edmonton. Kulak made the right play. If Skinner doesn't botch playing the puck Kulak's step up negates the rush and the puck is out of the zone. Bettman must be loving the outcome. Panthers winning the Cup gets people off his back for having a team in the south. Remember Florida has only been good for the last 3 years. Before this they sucked and couldn’t draw a crowd. They were the east coast Coyotes.

No he always wants the face of the league to be favored. Edmonton just ran into the team that should be champs. Better goal tending. Better goaltending and four rolling lines VRs two all stars. This is exactly how it should have played out

@@gdrag73 Florida is the better team. But they’ve had a lot of help with the refs the last two years. Everyone sees it, from the basic fan to the broadcasters and professional critics. Bettman needs a Southern expansion team to win to justify his poor decisions.

I’m more than a casual fan I’m a passionate fan. Remember before the rest of us watched you “get lucky” with mcdavid you tanked every year on purpose for that opportunity. Hell I referred to your team back then as the Sabres of the West. Screw up everyone else’s draft odds on purpose and do nothing with the picks but make them waste their prime years. I believe it’s way easier for the league to rig drafts than it is to rig games let alone series. Good luck it ain’t over till it is

Edmonton has played well, but with Florida’s depth means a higher likelihood you’re gonna have a guy right there who can exploit any mistake. You saw that here…three different Edmonton d men, three mistakes, three goals by Florida forwards. (Edmonton could use an upgrade or two at Dman actually but that’s probably neither here nor there as I have a feeling the whole team’s getting blown up soon.)

Panthers have been running interferences all series long....dont no why more interference calls arent made?....classic example, checkout the Barkov goal , prior to the goal...defensemen running a pick for his forward .panthers have been doing this all series...impeding the Oilers and in very subtle ways....Why arent they being called?
