I don't like the percentage of cap nonsense. Marner should get less than Matthews and the extra cap room goes to filling out a better team ,not filling Marner's pockets. If every contract goes by percentage of the cap ,the available space remains the same and we never get a chance to improve the roster. Offer him Willy's deal and if he doesn't think that is good enough to stay in Toronto they should send him packing and reorganize how the roster looks.
