Just beat a noble play through last night. Gloria got married, family got ennobled by the sword, mother recovered, Nathan became a prophet, and Stephan was killed by me in a duel right after I got max unity. We were favored by the overseer.

One criticism of/warning for people looking to try this game: You really, really need to game the events if you want certain paths. Was playing in a way that reflected what I felt was a solid roleplay experience, but when I went to become a priest, I found that the extremely high ability requirements pigeon holed me not all out of that, but all the paths besides what is basically the bad end. Now, that is a legitimate experience in and of itself, but if you don't focus your skill points to some degree, you are going to wind up funneled into a single path, with a bad ending which is... disappointing, from a roleplay perspective.

Oh 100%!! This is exactly what happened to me on my first playthrough, I ended up being able to do nothing good because I was going with the decisions that felt morally right instead of focussing on stats

Holy crap, we made pretty different decisions pretty early. My boy Bermp defies everyone who lifts a finger at Gloria and I saved Sophia both times.
