Bought this album (vinyl) in a second hand store in 1978 - then lost it in a move. All time favourite from the period and totally underrated.

After the death of Jim Morrison the remaining Doors put out two pretty good albums to little effect. A decision was made to find a new lead singer and the band repaired to Europe to start auditions. Ray became bored and headed back to the States, leaving Robbie and John to fend for themselves. They put together a crack band with Jess Roden on vocals and Phil Chen on bass. Without Ray they couldn’t use the name “Doors”, so The Butts Band was born. A really cool set of tunes. 1974.
