I can totally see mixing that way visually... And admittedly have done it when sitting down and preparing tunes.. I guess it's just generational like having come up and not been able to do that when I learned how to DJ it would just seem counterintuitive to not have a cue....

Pretty sure it's just earplugs and not TWS earbuds as the later are not small enough to not stick out the ear. Also the bluetooth latency would be quite bad except if they're aptX Low Latency (or Adaptative) with a compatible transmitter. Beat detection along with sync and visual cues are getting the job done nowadays.
