Great video, can you plug a pedal board to it? And is it possible to use a smartphone to hear the amp as you play or is it only with a headset?
@PatPosse Жыл бұрын
You should be able to go from the Headphone out into your phone to record but I don't think you can use the phone as a speaker, I could be wrong. You could also go from the headphone out into the input of a pedalboard but I don't know if it would sound any good...

Hey Pat another question about the amp functions. I've been playing with it for a little bit now and actually really like the presets, pretty cool. My question is if you go into store mode and create your own tones and save them, does that override the original presets and you lose them forever or is it a completely separate bank and you can go back and forth. I didn't really see that explained in the manual so wondering if you know. I don't want to start creating my own tones and lose the presets for good unless there is a factory reset option. Your answer is much appreciated, thanks!

Hey mate, thank you for the review! I live in an apartment and I'm actually considering in buying this as my amp well, it's not a very good amp although I can use headphones with it. However, the overdrive or distortion is not so good. Being that said, I'm not a great guitar player but I do enjoy playing different styles (mostly punk songs actually) so, although I'm 99% convinced in getting it, my question is, would you recommend this mini amp for playing bands like The Offspring, Green Day, Foo Fighters and those kind of styles (I will be playing also bands like "La Renga" from Argentina and hard rock or even ska and ska punk). Thank you very much, I hope you see my comment. Kind regards from Chile in South America!
@PatPosse Жыл бұрын
Hey buddy! Thanks for the great comment. Let me try to help... I think for the price and size it's pretty darn good. It's not "Made in the UK Marshall head" quality or even Mesa Boogie quality but it's not BAD at all. Something i've tried since I've made this video and that has proven to be really cool is to connect the guitar to a pedal (in my case an Ibanez TS9 [or any clone of it 😉]) and connect this Headphone amp to the output of the pedal and LET IT RIP! I'm telling you, Night and Day! It takes the headphone amp from, "not bad" to "hell yeah!!!". Hope you can try it out and let me know how it turns out!! Hope to be of help my bro! I hope to visit Chile someday, soon! Cheers!

@@PatPosse I bought LEKATO, good choice I think. I mean, there are many things like usb charging that are good but the sound isn’t the best in the world. However i plugged it in an overdrive pedal and now it’s much better. Overall, with some decent headphones and 100 euros/dollars you can buy this amp and a pedal, the result is good for most players. Obviously I needed to set it in the optimal way, every parameter is important. Anyways thank you for showing me LEKATO. Just an idea, you could bring some videos on channel about testing cheap pickups or make some comparisons between very good (and expensive) pickups (SD, DiMarzio, Gibson…) and cheap ones of Amazon (FLEOR, Musiclily, Tonerider…). I don’t know if it is worth the price, but it would be interesting for pretty much every Guitar player. Thank you man.

Obviously, you are a "whammy addict" but when doing a demo of something like thism tiy should not use your "whammy bar". Having seen this device before, and listening to, but not watching your review at first, I was perplexed that there was tremolo in the first presets...when other reviewers had no tremolo their reviews. Then, I looked up at my monitor and saw that you were using the tremolo bar. Also, the device is a preamp and almost any preamp can "break up" if you blast out sound from it at a maximum. To solve the darn problem, just turn down the volume!
