I do so agree with you about not going into debt. It causes stress, worry and often conflict within the home. It is better to go without than to go into debt. Many people go into debt for cars, motor-homes, boats etc then are so stressed on how to pay each month that it takes the fun out of having those items. Stay well & keep having fun.

Just something quick to add. If you have all the money and just want to pay for a bike cash, that's cool and a great situation to be in. I get the whole save all your money to buy a bike thing and that's cool. But check this out. Cardinal Community Credit union in Mentor Ohio has a deal where they have a 4.49% interest rate on a 48 month motorcycle loan. The bike has to be a 2008-2016. Let's say you buy a $6000 motorcycle: The monthly payment is $137 x 48. The total cost of the loan is $6566. So you only pay $566 over 4 years for the loan. I would much rather do that and ride immediately than not ride while saving up the money. At only 4.49% you can intelligently buy bikes, ride them, resell them for a profit and upgrade yourself to your dream bike a hell of a lot faster that trying to save up the extra money or get a 2nd job. Intelligently use other peoples money! Obviously, you can pay off your loan early at any time. So, if you're financially responsible with good credit, you can get 4.49%. If you have previous experience with the credit union or have other open accounts with them, they might even go as low as 3.99%. Heck, I have buddy that paid 1/2 cash and the rest on a 0% American Express card for a new ZX10R. The Amex card gave him 0% for 1 year and he paid it off with no interest. Cash is always king and I understand that. Buy there is also something to riding earlier than later. Have a great summer and watch out for idiot drivers. :)

Stay away from the loan predators, they will entice you with fancy offers to lure you but paying for a bike in full with your own money is the only way to freedom. There will always be excuses to get into debt, resist temptation and stay debt-free! Believe me, I've been there and done that and used to give all the excuses in the world until one day I woke up and said I choose to no longer be a debt slave and I haven't been for over 13 years. The new slavery is debt. Back in my grandmother's time they did not give out debt as freely and there were less people in debt, now, the majority of the population is indebted to banks.

I understand bro. But at 0% or 3.99%, you are not a debt slave. You are using their money to your advantage. I'm with you if you're referring to high interest stuff over 5%. I agree, it's stupid to use credit cards or loans with interest rates of 9.99% or higher If we subscribed to the theory of buying everything cash, then there would be very few Home Owners in America. The factories would all be closed because nobody would have the money to buy a brand new car with saved up cash. Let me get this clear. You would not buy a car or a bike with 0% financing? I actually did this, over the past 5 months I've had a 2015 Fz-07, traded for 2013 zx6r, sold for a small profit, bought a 2013 R1 with a little savings added in, sold it for a rather large profit, and now have a 2013 S1000RR. I'm 22, work 65 hours a week, and go to school 17 hours a week, and also active in a fraternity... No excuse to not be able to afford what your passionate for (within reason of course)

I am realizing the benefit of just paying cash, I make good money 6 figures, and have 8 thousand in debt. Now I am saving and paying off that debit so I can buy a bigger home. One thing I realize is if anything should happen to you and you don't have a job you are left to pay any debit you have. Once I paid off my debit never again will I be a slave to my credit cards. That's a good idea. Bike repair and sell. But, you need a garage, tools, something to prop the bike up. You also need to know all the parts and where to buy em cheap and how to put everything together. Getting that knowledge probably costs money too. So it's a good idea but you need to invest into it. Right?

Most stores allow you to rent tools free ... or with a very small fee.You do not really need a garage all you need is a bit of flat space in the garden plus building a small shed out of wood ain't exactly to costly or hard to do. also tools to lift bikes are like 100-200$ which ain't that much if you want a motorbike as you can always use it on your daily bike

This is exactly what I did to get my 2013 BMW s1000rr. Bought and sold a few bikes and made money. I sold two bikes I had to get my bmw. Paying everything in cash. Then a year later paid cash for my 2012 kawasaki zx10r. I think I'm going to be done buying for awhile. I'm never selling the BMW. The zx10r is a awesome bike as well.

Totally agree. I bought a Honda transalp 700va and swopped it for a old and mistreated cbr1000rr 2007 and have done it up. I also bought a Honda varadero 125 and done that up. I've made myself a system to save up for my first bike. With chores I can save up about 60% of the cost of the bike and gear. Then to get the other 40% I can get it by doing yard work and sell old guns and stuff. I'm only a kid but I think the best way to save up for anything is to have a system. I believe by the time I'm 15 I should have enough money for my bike and gear so I can get a little extra research time for 6 months. Watching these horrible crash videos and stuff on youtube has made me want to put the extra money in for good gear and good classes.

I want to say 60% of the drivers I see when riding have their face in their phones, its amazing how much you notice while riding and how much it pisses you off. We are so concerned with things like drunk driving and DUI's I really think driving while being on a phone is the real problem. Put down your freaking phone people!!

unfortunately I don't have enough extra money to get a bike or to get into the flipping business just yet... but I have a plan with my tax money to either buy a bike or maybe invest in some stuff to flip to get the money to get my bike... hopefully in 6 months i'll be on 2 wheels!

yes cyclecruza get rid of the smart phones so people can't watch your videos anymore....not everyone has the monthly bill of Internet and or owns a tablet/computer. This is the modern Era in which our tech comes with us. Also note some of your fans (myself included) are truck drivers our smartphones are almost a requirement in today's age.
