This car's immediately become an MCLA throwback in my collection. I made it look like mine back then. Which wasn't too special, but still. It replaced the boring slow Stanier I had before. XD Only thing that's strange is that this thing's classed as a Sedan and not Muscle. I'da loved to wheelie it down the Sandy Drag- I mean, Airstrip.

Yeah it was also in MC3, both mcla and mc3 have great car collection, still playing it. In terms of design and style this impala is cool, it can be almost anything, rapper car on 22 rims, fbi car, drag car, lowrider, etc And yeah, is it in sedan class?? I also thought it would be muscle since in the description of the car rockstar wrote something about drag races

I think it was supposed to be a muscle but the wheelie was probably too op so they nerfed it. Wouldn't make sense for them to add a wheelie bar if they never intended it to wheelie

They're definitely holding back all the GTA 6 customisation options, most probably because it's not compatible with this game. But hey that's a good thing since GTA 6 will feel more fresh if we have more new content to play with rather than having already experienced everything in GTA Online. I could easily see that Impala being a Donk style car which isn't really possible in GTA 5. They don't have lift kits and wheel size customisation for example.

@@1Leeky-Lol considering how easily money is to obtain with all the DLC’s they’ve released over the years it makes sense why prices of vehicles are as high as they are. You could do 1 heist and afford any vehicle at a 1 million price tag. Having multi million dollar vehicle prices makes people actually have to grind for their assets.

I know this gonna confuse alot of yall. But this not an impala ss its actually a Caprice Classic hardtop. Wich was the precursor to the. Impala SS. Which is the same body style. Different headlights and bumpers. And some caprice classics came with a soft top.

True, in fact the Impala SS was only around a short time. The Caprice was far more common, especially for cop cars and taxis. A lot of younger people in the US may not remember these, and most people around the world probably never saw one.

The Imapala SS was badass for sure, but you didnt see a ton of them back then. Most of this body style were Caprices, a lot of those just had the 305 unless you had the Buick or Caddy version with the 350. I guess the poor man version of the SS would be a retired Caprice 9C1 cop car, that would have been fun back in the day

Yup I been using the new impaler and lowering it, then everyone else in the lobby been using it too but they keep asking me how is mine so low😂 feels like Iam gate keeping the info, first thing I do to every car I buy is try to lower it, and I was impressed wit la this one, you can lower the recently new impaler lx(box Chevy/Caprice)too

The fact that there isn't an option to remove the chrome strip is aggravating. Fun fact though before GM cancelled all RWD cars besides the Corvette after 96, there was a concept for the 97 Impala SS that would have added a 4th color option which would have been a silver/gray and option for a manual transmission.

There is like 1 5 spoke wheel that is close. 2nd option in Sport I think and a slightly smaller version in Tuner

The engine in the Impala SS wasn't straight from the Corvette. The Impala/Caprice LT1 was slightly different than the Corvette/Camaro/Firebird LT1, so it was down a bit on power. Combine that with it's weight of 4000 pounds, and it was a slug on acceleration. But once it got rolling, it could reach impressive speeds. It was speed limited from the factory to 154mph.

If you want the 5 spoke rims use the tuner Apex rims ,, Also if you want the red paint job for the impala its metallic cabernet red.

Idk I'm just not feeling it I got mine looking like the one from All about the Benjamin's but it's incredibly slow and just doesn't feel like anything special. It definitely needed a benny's or an hsw upgrade because it's so blah 1.2 mil isn't nothing but if you are struggling and looking to buy don't bother

Yeah its not really that great, I like it don't get me wrong but its just a cruising vehicle imo and its not something that I would regard as a good racer unless everyone was using the same model. Like I bought it, added the necessary bells and whistles and after test driving it I didn't really think it was all that. I mean it handles relatively well although I haven't took it around a high speed circuit. Talking about speed its also not the fastest regarding quickness but if you slam it and tighten up the drive train and traction it does actually feel like a pretty well grounded car when driving it. Its just a cruiser imo and something to cruise in.

Bro no B.S. no cap,2001, I actually owned one when I was 18. Working 2 jobs in H.S. and traded my built 98 civic with a bunch of $$ for dif. But loved this car 96 SS rare year cuz floor shifter instead if on column. On hwy it felt lk the faster u went the lower and better handling it got. Few minor bolt ons and easily achieve 500hp. My plate read M5KLLA , yea I got Hella hate. What a car bruh

Nice, the SS were hella rare even back then. Most you saw were the basic Caprice Classic. I had a Buick Roadmaster for awhile, same car, just more chrome. The 350 had balls though

I just figured it out. You have to shoot it with a sniper and shoot in between fender and the tire about 3 times with a heavy sniper. Just make sure for the rear left tire to shoot at the right side of the tire so you don’t shoot the gas tank

Customization is very disappointing. The exhaust options just suck. No dual, rear exhaust like the OG Impala. There's a wheelie bar, but they put this in the sedan class. Come on, R*. The fact exhaust note is... fine, but could be better. Way better. But, hey, at least we can slam it.

Reasonable price.. my god lol XD Personally i was never a fan of the 80's 90's town car look, especially not at that price. That being said, with being bored of not buying anything in the last year and this last SUV update that was very uninteresting for us racing community (accept the Omaggio thank you god), i bought over 10M worth of cars, of which this last one. BUT, and i'm surprised you didn't go in on it, THE CHUTE can be a predecessor of what's to come, possibly in the year ahead, or maybe even already one for the next game edition. This, following up on the Muscle car WHEELIE BAR that was NEVER useful until they released the actual wheelie for Muscle cars, which for me was one of the most interesting (technical and execution) upgrades they added, yet with a waiting time of about 7 years.. I can see a separate Garaga Style coming in like the Bennies and Haos ones, but then for DRAGSTERS, with the option to put fat drag tires in the back, or maybe even a fiber body make-over iso the metal casing. Other then that, we did race the car in the Constructor Cup '24 (Declasse). For a Sedan, it has good power and speed, but not to beat the top range cars. But for drag racing, it's a friggy nice body when it's flat on the floor!
