Great video. This is the exact range I’m looking to buy in at the moment. Dennison Lapis dial added to my list

I think you missed out on one of the most beautiful watches; seiko grand and king quartz. Especially the grand quartz diamond dust dials. They’re full of Japanese beauty and elegance. Not to mention their zaratsu polishing and their solid mechanical quartz movements! I think they’re a must buy for a vintage Seiko or high end quartz watches full of rich history and elegance

Just get a Tissot Gentleman lol (no plastic parts). Henry Archer Vesterhav looks interesting but I have never seen one in the metal.

Usually there's one in the comment section to make their voice known - surprisingly not this time haha

What are your thoughts on Dan Henry?

Thanks for the comment, in my opinion just another retro inspired/homage watch brand on the budget end of things. Their meca-quartz pieces could spark my interest though.

There are also some affordable Casio alternatives such as the Citizen Tsuyosa and the MTP-B145. Like Dennison, other Microbands have spins on PRX that might be worth a glance such as D1milano and Yema. I'm eyeing a Yema currently.

The Yema Urban Traveller has long been a favourite of mine with an in-house movement as well I believe

We bought our neice the D1 Milano Sketch as a 1st watch for her 12th birthday (actually, we originally bought her a vintage, Tudor from 1942 but discovered it needed some work, so that's on the bench waiting for me to take it apart and hopefully service/repair/rebuild it in time for her 13th birthday!!😂) Anyway, the €150 D1 Milano Sketch was enthusiastically accepted, & apparently she's worn it daily since she received it last November!

Tissot PRX objectively the best watch ever created

The most basic watch maybe......the PRX is mass produced, yes it gives reasonable value for money if you don't know much about watches.....but it is OBJECTIVELY far from being the best watch ever produced!!

Oh please you people know NOTHING about horology. Good day sir.

@keyboard.grinder ok, so we know nothing about horology!!!?? So, if you're not just trolling for the sake of it, do enlighten us please.....since the PRX doesn't have an adjustment leaver, meaning you can not fine tune the accuracy and regulate it.....please do tell us what's the benefit of that (other than cost saving?) Also, a significant proportion of the automatic movement is actually made of plastic meaning that servicing will prove to be difficult, with Tissot hoping people would just purchase a whole new watch or replace the entire movement when it comes time to service it! So again, pray tell, how does that uphold or benefit the art & science of Horology!?!?
