It ALWAYS tastes/works better when you don't have to pay for it, buddy. That's an insane amount of money to pay for an appliance that makes one drink, especially when the same can be accomplished in a microwave for pennies by the dozens of cups.

I respectfully disagree, so much better than a kettle….even though there’s nothing wrong with a kettle
