Braver than me. I would've called my bank and told them I had some weird charge from Japan. They'd have given me my money back after seeing that sketchy website.

I feel you... I wanted to buy some pens from USA but the shipping to Europe is 38 euro plus 15 euro for the import fees. That's 88 Australian dollars 😢 Do you know how it feels when a pen that costs 100 Euro, a little bit more than 100 US dollars gets a big discount, more that 50% plus free shipping for USA, but the shipping and import for Europe will equal that discount. 😢 Not to mention that European stores have the older nibs of that model. You have that feeling that you are blocked and not permitted to take the advantage. 55€ about 90 Australian dollars for shipping and fees is more than what the pen that i want costs after the discount and a big amount of money for someone like me. It's the 1/8 of my pension only for the shipping. Also the inks, another problem, if you can't find them here, well you can't buy them from America.

Sometimes the internet becomes a impenetrable window to a buffet you can't enjoy. I'm often tormented by the glass as I watch people enjoy my favorite foods. Woe is me. If I never found that window I would have been perfectly happy. Probably would be still be using that cheap Pilot Kakuno. That pen is great.

Well said. I agree, Kakuno is a great value for money pen.

Why have this useless money when you could have fountain pens :)

@@Ashsibe Too right. Who needs all that plastic papery stuff (our play money) anyway? You solved that problem.
