My 6 x 10 Hallmark had 2 spring hanger bolts fall out within 100 miles, all had the nuts only hand tight and an axle was ready to fall off. built during covid fwiw.

Definitely doesn't surprise me we had a few bolts and screws coming out on this one, screws from the trim coming out on the lot lol they didn't have the right bit to tighten the screws on the trimming

I hauled angle iron to Haulmark in 98 which had rust covering all the pieces. This was the frame work for inside behind the skin of the trailers. They said they painted the pieces before assembly. Idk about you, but I always thought it didn't do much good to paint over rust.

6:50 they call that Z-channel when its bent opposites like that one...not C channel....and yes i agree its cheap ...up here in canada that trailer might last 2 winters at the most...

Dang! Thanks for the heads up! Looking out for a good used 20’er now. Didn’t know that was a thing but I’ll be looking at the actual construction of the unit before I plunk down what looks to be 8-10k for a good used unit.

I here yah brother I never knew with the price of these trailers that they would be made like this, how it's legal for the road especially with a weight rating 9,999 and 6,999 payload is crazy to me

I also noticed the unfinished plywood floors on the underside - not even painted!? Maybe they think that this is an "indoor use" trailer....🙃😉
@fullthrottleobsessions10 ай бұрын
Right lol!! They must have been thinking the trailer was yard art

Willing to bet it's made back east and transported to CA.

I would say thats pretty accurate brother, I'm not 100% on what state this one was made but I know it wasn't in california

the raw wood exposed underneath doesnt seem right
@fullthrottleobsessions10 ай бұрын
Right! It definitely should have been painted, but I would have been good on that what gets me is how thin they went on the majority of the frame

check it over carefully before buying.

100% agree, there going way to cheap on these trailers now
@ericcruz52810 ай бұрын
They don’t make them like they use to! It’s all about building as cheap as possible & selling for the high.
@fullthrottleobsessions10 ай бұрын
I hear yah brother, it's really a shame. They went way to cheap on this trailer its actually dangerous

YOU NEED TO TAKE SOME WELDING CLASSES BRO
@fullthrottleobsessions4 ай бұрын
I hear brother, but I was in a pinch when this bracket broke I literally just lined the bracket up to the brake and ran the bead with just a quick pass with the wire wheel because we needed the trailer back out with the intentions that the brackets need replacing anyway so not my best work buy far lol

That is not engineered good at all. I don't believe the sticker, those are not 5000lb axles or hubs. You get what you pay for I guess.
@fullthrottleobsessions5 ай бұрын
They actually are 5200ib axles according to the stickers on the axles. If I did get what I paid for it would of been a better trailer there was a premium on this one because it was marked as a 10000 pound trailer the axles are but the frame is not lol

It's really ashame on the poor quality of these newer trailers, this video just covers a fraction of the problems iv had with this thing

Wow that is thin mine has a 14 gage 2 inch by 2 inch square tube
@fullthrottleobsessions5 ай бұрын
Nice!! This frame is super thin I actually broke the frame on this trailer last week, it's really hard to understand how they were able to get away with such a thin frame
