I had my truck camper done at the Denton TX location about 2 years ago and couldn't be happier with it. Living in Texas we have weather extremes and large hail is one of the issues we deal with but with the Flex Armor roof I don't have to worry about hail destroying my aluminum roof. Great video

Had my rv roof stripped down and sheeting and insulation replaced, replaced everything on top per his instructions for a good seal. A couple years 2+ later, my flex armor roof has not held up. It has exposed wood splitting and has come up on the edges, corners, and roof itself. East texas rv roof did mine. I am not happy. Took to another shop, and they found what was at the beginning of this video. Lack of professionalism and installations. It now has to be replaced. Do not buy from them.

The Guys in Sevierville, TN did an Awesome job on my 2017 Class C! From someone that has put down Many tubes of Lap sealant and fixed leaks,. Its nice to not have to worry about this on my own personal RV.

I’ve never been so happy about my roof. Had ours done in KeyStone Heights a year ago and it’s one of the best upgrades and long term investments we have made. I think the only thing we would have done differently is maybe not have covered the shower skylight. Being that the camper Wes 3 years old when we had it done, you can see how much the sun changed the color of the shower, but that is the only thing we were not expecting.

Having mine done in Sept. Curious about the white roof you brought up. I would think a silver roof color would be the most heat reflective. More so than white.

When it comes to our products, anything that would be reflective and or silver, has issues. Varies from less UV stability to increasing surface temp or cost.

We have one manufacturer, New Horizon, who applies it. As far as most manufacturers, this takes more time and skill so it just doesn't fit in the assembly line process.

So what happens if you need to change a roof vent or a sky light how do you change it if the screws are not exposed

I am actually working on that video. It is very easy. We would cut out the component and respray just that area. And we have a skylight for our roof system that allows you to change it without affecting the roof. We will be releasing more videos so please subscribe.

Spraying it over the light! yeah that was a home owner DIY job or a craigslist rv repairman hack. edit, I don't even know why I'm here I don't own a RV but I can tell they didn't rough up the surface for the product to adhere to.

How is RV Flex Armor applied to a TPO roof where the membrane isn't flat against the roof everywhere. I have a Grand Design 5th wheel and they told me it's normal to allow for expansion and contraction.

We have a step in our prep process that creates an expansion joint in those areas. You do need a way to make sure a roof can stretch over the plywood seams.

Obviously price is dependent on size, bigger roof, more material, more expense, but, is there a standard price one could use to figure out approximate cost ? Like say xxx dollars per square foot ? Also, let’s say a guy decides to go ahead and have a flex armor roof sprayed, then a year or 2 down the road wants to add solar panels to the roof. How would that work as far as flex armor is concerned ? Poking holes in the roof with mounting fasteners installing brackets etc for solar panels, does flex armor advise against such practices are can it be “touched up” somehow etc ? What a shame there always has to be scam artists and fakes trying to latch on to something good someone has spent the actual sacrifices developing. Always trying to make a buck off of someone else’s hard work.

Thank you for your comment. The pricing can vary from location to location. The prices range from $175-$240 a foot for length of roof sprayed. There can be additional charges such as wood replacement if you have rotted wood. If you were to add something later like solar panels, you would need to have those fixtures sprayed in. FlexArmor bonds back to itself with certain prep processes. Having any areas resprayed keeps your warranty in effect. There is a charge for this, depending on what you need done, it can take a day or two. We usually recommend doing everything you want first so you don't have extra expense later but it can be done if needed. And you wouldn't have to go back to your original location, any FlexArmor location can do those type resprays for you. The best way to get an idea of pricing is to visit the website RVRoof.com and send an estimate request to your closest location.

If the RV companies would build a quality product that would last for years and years meaning a RV. With that being said these so-call (temporary) fix it companies would not exist. Most are a scam

All the roof fixtures should have been removed then the proper roof material sprayed on, the garbage that was sprayed on was NOT quality bed liner material, I have seen proper roof material and you can’t peel it off !!!

If you remove the fixtures and then spray down a material, you are doing the same as a typical RV roof. And that was the point of the video, the wrong product and process for the application and many consumers do not know the differences. We made the video to provide more information for consumers.
