I used to run 1 ton dump truck delivered lots of material dirt stone mulch also got into gravel driveway work just make sure when they load your truck they don't bang or tap side of your truck good luck great video keep the hustle !!!!!

I got the insert for spring and fall cleanups. Why not use is for junk removal or pick up material for customers. Originally I was going to get a F450 or F550 with a dump box but all of them used were beat up and I wanted another pick up for plow back up. So, I have my back up truck and I can haul at least some material. Win win for sure. Thanks for watching Jim!

Yea brother insert is amazing I have a leaf tarp from that goes on top of the sides giving me another 2-3 ft of space height wise. I use my leaf vac and I literally get 1 really big clean up or 2 medium size clean ups saving me a bunch of money and time I don’t gotta waste. I’m able to pick up my mulch and other materials myself and make more money now on jobs providing that instead of having it delivered. Don’t have to let material sit there cause it was the only time it could be delivered by the time I need it. I get what I need and when I need it. I’m eventually buying a F-550 Dump truck for my landscaping business. But for now this insert has increased my business’s profits 15-20k a year now and when I get my dump truck I’ll be able to have 2 separate crews or grab the smaller loads like few yards of mulch or dirt increasing profits. Any landscaper or outdoor construction work this is absolutely one of thee best investments you can get there awesome

I do miss it and recommend anyone reading this to get one. Like you said, it's a money maker and time saver. I am looking around for used smaller one to fit my 6.5 box on the Diesel F250. Hi, I have a 6 by 12 dumper but I would like to get an dump insert on my 2017 ford f150 so I can still carry my Inclosed trailer with me, it would be for grass clippings and probably close it off for fall to pickup leafs, what are your thoughts? Would my f150 be able to handle it? It’s got a 6.5 bed. Thank you

Hi Robert. Thanks for watching. Honestly, either get rear air bags installed or add leaf springs which I had to do on my F250 and made a HUGE difference. If I had to do it on my F250, 100% you will have to on a F150. My insert is around 900lbs plus weight of material you are putting in PLUS your trailer tonge weight lowing the rear of truck. Upgrade the rear end on Truck!

Most dump inserts are about 6000lb dump rating.... Not sure if thats a 350 or 250 truck but payload is prob around 3500-4000lb on the newer trucks and the insert weighs about 800lb. Basically 2 yards of loam you just dumped is prob max weight for truck. You can put about 4 yards mulch weight wise .... Cool video

This truck is a 2013 F250. I did have a leaf spring added on the rear both sides. That made a huge difference when I got it done. This trucks suspension is a lot softer then my Diesel F250. If I didn't have the leaf springs added, the truck would of sagged down so much more. I believe the weight rating for the truck payload is close to 4000Lbs. What you said, I would not go anymore than 2 yards of soil or gravel. 4 yards of mulch would be ok. All in all, this insert comes in handy and did not break the bank to buy used. Added wood, painted it all, added strobe lights, boom, great investment! Thanks for watching Ken.

@@MBGAdventures No doubt! I love dump inserts. Very useful. Just remember though those added leaf springs don't help you stop any faster. I do like the added spring for stability with heavy loads though. Believe me I have pushed many trucks to many limits I should not have over the years until I thought of that one chance someone stops short and i rear end a family being overloaded. There goes my business out the door. I took way too many chances and feel I am very fortunate today. But I have learned from my mistakes

Very good point. Farther back there was a vehicle parked on the other side and it's the entrance to the street also the community mail boxes are there which odds are, people will stop their car there to get mail more than a fire happening right there on the street. That black pick up truck was going to move and the load got picked up by a mini skid steer and moved within 15 minutes of the drop. Thanks for watching!
