If nikes that cost 15 bucks to make in vietnam can be 300 to us , i honestly cant blame lego considering all the design process and the ideas went to it. Its much easier to copy it now but the initnal concept of everything just somehow matching takes a lot of effort , let alone the risk of coming to this level in the market.

I actually use some of the $1 base plates for displays. No figures or parts have cracked so I’ve been comfortable using them in Mocs.

The plates got shrinkflation recently, shrunk in size to about a 16x16 now, the baseplates are pretty good deals if you can find the big sized ones

These seems really cheap close to other brands that make sets of supposedly licenced stuff like movies and cartoons. From these, I's say the bench is fine, I got some knock off lego "for girls" and, one of them is similar, the difference is that the mailbox is another set.

I've been pretty happy with dollar tree legos. They work well enough with the name brand stuff, though some of the sets I've gotten fit very tightly and can be difficult to remove. They also feel cheaper than the name brand. Seriously though...for $1 I'm happy.

These are little booster sets to help fill out a city on the cheap. As long as they are compatible and you try to not mix pieces, I see no issue. If I was a parent and my kid was into lego, I'd keep my eye out for these to use as a physical reward for good grades or whatever. For how cheap they are, they bring a lot of potential to the table

Hi there, you forgot to mention something.... The baseplates are slightly larger then LEGO baseplates, so if you want to line them up you'll have to shave a little off, otherwise they buckle.
