A lot of good stuff coming up..as for the '23 coins..I don't think those are a bust...I typically don't see same year coins until around September usually...casinos are great for pennies, nickels and quarters. But the cost of this upcoming series wasn't cheap and i do appreciate all of the hunting. I would keep some of the nicer halves and dollars...as a kid I ALWAYS loved getting those...made me feel really lucky:-) Great gifts for Christmas and birthdays for nieces/nephews etc.

I bought a whole case box of half dollars from my local credit union for $500 and it just came in yesterday because they had to order it. They were all Kennedy's. I spent 3 hours last night going through every roll. I didn't find a single thing except two that had holes drilled in them that were apparently worn as a pendant at some point. I also found one with my birth year 1973 that was in excellent shape so I kept it. Honestly I had to give it a try but I didn't really think I would find any silver or anything else. I've recently done rolls of quarters and dimes from my bank as well and also didn't find anything. As long as I can get over my nerves asking for the coins and not looking like the weird guy I'll continue to do it just for the sport.

I only go to banks that I have accounts with! Otherwise, it’s not likely that you will get anything. In this video, I visited a few branches that I had never been to before

You can simply ask nicely if they have what you're looking for. Some will say yes, others will say no. If they ask why, just say that you like historical things and coinage. Don't want to accidentally create a competitor.

Somehow I was unaware that the Susan B Anthony dollar was minted in multiple years. I have a few of them that I collected in the early '80s and didn't even look at the date. Some, but not many, American dollar and half dollar coins make it up here in the Great White North.

My local bank will not sell you more then a few rolls unless you have a commercial account, otherwise you have to pay a fee, I forget 10-20%.. Banks I don't have an account won't sell me rolls or wouldn't a couple of years ago when I tried. National change shortage.

If you don't have an account at some banks today, they will not cash your coins when you return all the worthless coins. The coin machines in many stores charge you like 10-12%.

Exciting! I just started coin roll hunting last month. Have found a ton of cool stuff and have checked at least one roll of every denomination, and many pennies, nickels, and quarters. Just last night I got 20+ wheats, including a 1932, in a penny box.

You're getting rolls of 2023 coins. I haven't seen a single roll yet. I have gotten a couple of 2023 Denver dimes and a few 2023 Bessie Coleman quarters also Denvers. I have yet to see any Philadelphias or 2023 nickels or pennys. Also, on the small dollars there are only a few years that are circulation. I have found a couple of NIFCs, but the circulation years are 1979 and 1980 and 1999 for the Susan B Anthonys. For the original Sacagaweas only 2000-2001. For the Sacagawea Native Americans only 2009 through 2011.

Hello, I was watching your Livestream on quarters and heard you say that silver quarters weren't minted after 1964 and that bit of information is incorrect. There were quite a few silver blanks left after they minted the 64's. When they began to mint the 65 quarters the silver blanks were accidentally loaded and shipped to another mint where production of the 65's were underway and those silver blanks were used and sent out for circulation, I myself have over a dozen of them. My coin dump a few years ago when I was broke, was all my Morgan dollars, peace dollars, Ben franklins and kennedys as well as all my old quarters that I saved my whole life. I had absolutely no idea they were worth more than face value, so there are stupid people in the world! So don’t be scared if they are customer rolled

The problem is you're wasting your time with pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. You're not going to become a millionaire looking at all that low-priced stuff because of the time it takes. How much did you spend on gas getting to the place? How many hours did you waste going there, back, looking through them all, and then trying to spend the stuff you didn't need?
