Buying 1974 Land Rover Required An Essay

Mark Lanctot of Pleasant Valley, CT was asked to write an essay by the seller before he was permitted to buy a 1974 Land Rover Series III in August 2021. And some assembly was required for the four-wheel-drive Land Rover. Lanctot shares the story with RIDE-CT.

Hi and well done on the rebuild of the series 3 good job with discovery axes,I have a 74 series 3 a 65 2a and defender from 96,just one thing you said its got 5 gears,the only had 4 and an optional overdrive as an extra is that you ment by 5 gears,lovely landy and greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪, Aidan

Very pretty! I also live in CT and never heard of this channel. I also like the British cars having owned a 1962 MGA MK ll, a 1965 XKE OTS and a 1970 XKE FHC. Keep those British cars on the road! It's all about having a fun driving experience, IMO.

I have only been in an older land rover once and it was a real POS. Ate they all this way, or are they good cars?
