Ayy welcome back! Crazy part prices have slowly started to drop, so very tempted to bite the bullet and start flipping. Found you sometime in 2021, but GPUs were crazy - could've sold my 5 year old 1070 for a PROFIT.

Yeah, all of last year having a GTX 1070 probably put you in the upper echelon of gaming. :P

Cool channel first video of yours I've seen. I do local budget flips and PC work etc. I bought a pack of 10 of the USB wifi dongle I got em for $4 a piece I use those to throw in non wifi flips or builds people usually don't mind in that budget space at least
@twowheelsusedtech76282 жыл бұрын
Yeah, whenever I collect extra dongles I'll offer them to people who plan on using WiFi, good item to have kicking around.

Curious how you account for the time required to find and then acquire the parts and computers you buy when it comes to determining the "profit" once you sell the resulting computer, sort of the "soft" costs as opposed to the "hard" cost of parts only. It does take time and resources to find and acquire the parts, to tear the computers down, to build the computer you're going to sell, take pics, list it, maybe deliver it or interact with the person around picking up the computer. How do you figure these into your "profit"? Maybe you have a video on that already. I've watched the four part flipping videos already.
@twowheelsusedtech76282 жыл бұрын
I've covered this topic here and there in a handful of my videos but it's nearly impossible to really get down to the exact cost of all the "extra" stuff. It's messy enough that I slap a blanket "time cost" on anything I have to deliver, test, troubleshoot, or explain to customers. If I'm only profiting say $100's from a full flip, I'd cut myself off at going over $50's worth of time/gas/etc.
