Geoff most definitely is not a friend of the hobby, dude will scam anyone including kids, prices his cards insanely over comps, than walks shows and offers 50-60% on the best cards you have. One of my very first shows I did he was at, I was walking the show and he was buying, took look at all my stuff, took out a Ja rookie auto, this was 2 years ago before all the injuries and shenanigans. He tells me # on Ja which was absurd and he when i take the cards back and give him a wild look he looks me dead in the face and says "yeah its a sticker auto, I pay 60% on sticker autos." Okay, one dumb attempt at ripping me off, noted. Years later at a different show he is setup at he walks to my table this time reversed since I am behind the table and he is walking it. Wants my Kobe Crown Royale Game Worn Patch Auto /25 BGS 9/10 That I am asking 3k for. I said I would do partial trade and he shows me some cards, only think was semi interested in but not really is his Ja auto that he wants 1300 trade value for yet it comps for 800-900. He offers me the Ja and $500, which was about half the value I had on the Kobe. I'm like I can do $2500 cash as my best, how can I do $1500? Dude really has no shame in lowballing the fk out of kids. Btw that Kobe I traded for 2K cash and $1200 in cards (2 Ant Man rookie autos and Chet Spectra RPA) a few months later. I have heard plenty of great stories about him also that I won't share because they aren't my experiences to do so but I would steer clear of ever trying to work with him.
