I got 01 Cobra as my first car a few months ago but currently it is still in the workshop, just this week hopefully it will come out from the workshop, we rebuilded the entire engine ♥️, congratulations for the new car

And to confirm, the 03/04 cobras were supercharged and had built internals that could handle up to 1k WHP, and also came with an iron block... The 01 is not supercharged... even though the alternator whines a bit. But the 01 shares the 32v platform of that of the 03/04 Cobras. The 01 Cobras still are very reliable and make amazing exhaust sounds. Sweet Cobra, I used to have an 01 Cobra, I remember the whine sound of the alternator, It almost sounds like it is supercharged at times. 😸I now have an 03 Terminator, but the 01 Cobra is still an amazing and fun car... Especially with 4.10 Gears. 😂👍I remember spinning tires in first, second and chirping the tires in third. Sweet ride brother. 🔥🔥

Looks like the hood was swapped to a 2003 ish GT hood... But it does have the Cobra powerplant. I actually like the hood from the GT though. 😄

It’s a svt but from 2000-2002 it’s comes none supercharged. Supercharged svt is years 2003-2004

Cool car but its missing quite a few of the original cobra parts that make it a cobra vs a standard new edge. Also 03-04 came supercharged and with a t56 6 speed.

The motor is for sure from an 01 Cobra. I used to own one like 12 years ago. The hood was swapped out at some point though. It was definitely driven. 😄Love to see it.

car has had a lot of owners before us. the hood doesn't have the black heat insulator because it was changed

It just has a gt hood and changed lights everything else is cobra its pretty obvious.

One more thing like i said these cars are very old an 90 % if them have had a very very hard life an one more cery important thing on these cars about 70 % have been in an accident some not bad but a lot have been hit prettyy bad so if you do not wana take my advice about any new edge cobra an do pull the trigger at least do this before you sign on the dotted line take the car for at least a 50 mile test ride in the city an highway an this will tell you all about the clutch an because i havent seen one 01 03 or 04 cobra that didnt need a clutch even if it only has a 20 thousand miles to 50 thousand miles an some with even 15 thousand miles an if the cobra hasnt had the coil packs replaced an you can afford this go ahead an order the coil pack kit yes replace all of them an make sure you get it in writing the car has never been in a wreck an make sure you see all the records of maintaince if they dont have proof of maintaince then leave it an go buy a new car because like i told you if none of this stuff hasnt been done hell just go an buy a new G T 500 because itll cozt you yhat much to get that car in not perfect shape but pretty nice shape because i can show you all pf my maintaince records in the last 10 years which is about 18 thousand dollars an my 03 isnt driven more then 12 hundred miles a year an spmetimes sit in the he giarge for months yal o dont drive but i know all about letting these cars sit so i alwayy at least start the car or drive it around the block an yal it now has 26 thousand miles on it.

What’s wrong with it? Got mine at 24k and just hit 31k and beat the shit out of everytime I drive it and it’s been very strong no issues at all.

I really wish you the best but i warn you these cars are 23 years old an if they havent been maintained theyll cost you not hubdreds but thousands an thousands of dollars to maintain an im a professional on these cars an i own one an ive kept up on all the maintaince an it cost as much as a gt new 500 to keep up an my 03 converrtable is show room quality under hood an top but its a money eater an if you dont keep on top of these cars their junk in a couple years they are nothing but wallet eaters from coil packs to fuel pumps to clutches to spark plugs to power stearing pumps to valve cover gaskets an replaceing valve cover gaskets is a real big job an you will need to replace them or keep blowing coil packs theres no end an heres the good part just when you have replaced all this sruff at least once the car will be alright for mabe 5 or 6 months an then the cobra starts its shit again an usually its a coil pack or the oil cooler an my oil cooler cost me 650 dollars an 350 to have it put on by the ford dealer yal im selling mine an its close to mint an all stock the only way i buy a car an still look at what ive gone through an i saw a terminator somebody brought in when i picked my 03 cobra terminator at the ford dealer friday well they towed it in a terminator car it was all there an looked all stock but i dont care i wouldnt of give em 2000 for this terminator because the paint was peeling off every where an i ask the service advisor about the car an he said it wont even move an said they told the people that had it towed in that they really dont work on cars that are far gone yal but said they will give them an estimate i guarantee to get that 03 terminator cobra in the shape my 03 cobra is in youd bee spending at the least 25 to 35 thousand these cars are not worth touching unless their in nice shape stay away from them ..

What dude. I’ve had an 01 for almost 20 years. Procharged upgraded rods and pistons and countless other mods I’m hitting just over 500hp and have not dumped thousands upon thousands of dollars on this so called junk car. It’s a great car and very strong one of the best engines ford has ever made. Parts are plentiful for this car down to the push pins for wheel well guards and not to mention the massive amounts of mods. This is a very affordable and easy to maintain car

Pistons rings ect in these are NOT equal to the 03 04 cobra . Which had Manley rods and pistons . Ive smoked so many of these things with a few bolt ons on a fox. They are nice cars tho
