Buying a PC second hand comes with its risks, there is the unknown of whether the PC fully functions correctly. In this case i purchased a budget gaming PC and the gaming PC had a bunch of dirt and dust everywhere, it seemed so fishy, i think we were scammed, however we will do our best to fix up this PC and deep clean it as best we can.

great video, very satisfying seeing all that dust get cleaned up. however, I do recommend always testing any tech before cleaning so you know if it works before you mess about with it and that the cleaning didn't result in any damages

My guess would be the “grease” you saw with all the dust clinging to it could be tar from someone smoking many, many packs of cigarettes near this machine. It’s tough to wipe off.
