Buying A Car In Sweden Vs US

Ever since moving to Sweden, we have like so many Swedes driven an old classic Volvo. As much as we've loved this car, we've been wanting an upgrade for quite some time now. But what kind of car do you buy, and how do you find a car in Sweden? Morgan as an American is used to nice dealership, while Will feels like a dealership is somewhere you get ripped off. In this weeks video we are doing a mix of both worlds, as we go car hunting in Sweden, meeting private sellers and dealerships. As an American living in Sweden it can be tricky, as the Swedish way is often quite far from the way things would be done in the US, but what specifically is different when it comes to cars? A little about us 🇺🇲🇸🇪
Morgan is from the USA and Will is originally from Sweden. We met while working together in Germany in 2018 and have ever since tried to find a place to call home. In January of 2022 Morgan finally received a positive decision on her residency application in Sweden, so for now we know where we will call home. We look forward to share with you the challenges and differences between our cultures, and how it works when they meet in our relationship. We very much love each other, but do we love everything about where we are from? Is Sweden as good as everyone says, and is America more than all of its stereotypes?

I mean what are the chances, but we also just bought a car this Wednesday that just passed... And we had to trust the stranger... he said it's a really good car, but yesterday it started to make strange noises 🤪🤪... Now I need to find a mechanic to look at it... might regret not buying the more expensive one... as Morgan said... sometimes might be better to go for the expensive but not broken car... Aaaanyway. I'm happy for your fireplace! We also got out chimney seeped at the end of April for next year. It's warm now, so no need for fire anymore. As performers we are working on and off on projects, some smaller, some larger. More on the creative side lately, but always looking for opportunity to be on stage. Building multiple streams of income has really helped in our everyday life, as work sometimes can be unpredictable. Life in the village is hard, but we have slowly found a rhythm that works for us. @@MorganandWill Oh wow! That sounds like so much fun! I totally understand that it must be challenging at times when projects are hard to come by. Would you guys be comfortable making a video on some of these other streams of income (besides social media) ? I think it would be an interesting video! I am so glad you've found a rhythm and routine that works for you. (Intially, found you guys when I was looking for other couples that've been through the process of applying for a permit. I've been waiting 11 months now) I graduated from grad school in Gbg at the end of summer last year. Have since moved to the south of Sweden to live with my sambo. I've been job hunting ever since. Sadly, interviews have been far and few between. I do have one tomorrow though for a job that lines up perfectly with what I've studied. I don't have family or friends here so it does get lonely at times, but I try and see the brighter side in things and feel so grateful to have such a supportive partner :) Your videos have been so relatable and help me keep my spirits up when I'm feeling low so thank you so much!
