FYI, just in case you're not deliberately doing it to introduce the concepts, a passive airlock that you have to stand still for only accomplishes what the basic airlocks already do: you can stand on your airlock door, wait for it to close before moving again and you won't leak atmosphere at all. Having a standard door behind you is a good safety net still for if you miss-click or forget, but if you're going to have to stand still anyway, you might as well do it on the airlock that doesn't leak atmo.

Holy crap Rhad! Just as I was shutting down for sleep last night I found a freighter with 36 of the climate controlled rad shielded cargo pods attached to it. It's something like the 6th ship I've visited in my first ever run. I bought the game because of this video series, thanks for shining light on these gems that don't have budget for big advertising.

Holy moly moly moly what a massive find And, yes I do try to champion the lesser known indie titles that I think are amazing and just don't have marketing money, but truth be told I enjoy these games SO MUCH MORE than AAA titles, so its not entirely out of generosity and benevolence that I play games like this one, haha

22:20ish that, let's call it, feature of nesting in containers is amazing. One crate in each hand, one of the crates holds my weber, crowbar and drill, the other is filled with backpacks. Everything I pick up goes in the backpacks, and new packs goes in the other crate, ready for resale or future use. For anyone planning on trying this out: Only reason I'm able to do this, though, my character is both Fit and Strong, otherwise she'd have either passed out from excertion or hurt herself in other ways. Filling three backpacks up with 5xStacks of flooring (wich ranges from 5kg to 8kg per floor tile, which adds up in a stack) is quite heavy still, as such, strong and fit still means you'd need to keep an eye out on weight. Excercise machines during transit is probably the most efficient way of getting these two traits. I got them by always flying slowly to my next derelict, took me about 4 days (including salvage ops and licensed barter at KLeg), starting with both Feeble and Unfit removed during creation.

If you can scrounge up some old parts, you can play it on a potato. The game will even run on an old Pentium 4 setup with 3gb RAM, mind you load times will be quite long. :P

While in your ship, press N. This will let you create zones (just drag your mouse over an area). Then you can designate zones for buying and selling. That way you don't have to haul things off the ship to sell them.

If you create a zone on your ship you can sell directly from the zone and have what you've bought delivered there. It saves a lot of time.

Can you tug your old ship to nearby k-leg, just in case you need something from your old ship or would need more parts to have that functionality.

Selling the old ship is a massive benefit towards getting out of debt. Also, KLeg only allows you to dock 1 at a time

reactors can be found on roughly a third of the derelicts around kleg. Salvaging and selling reactors and reactor components is the main way to make money early game.

As stephen said they're common and I don't intend to build a reactor any time soon because it requires a ship easily x4 larger than my current one, so money is better.
