I'm an old flipper. I've used agents for various reasons and not used agents. IMO agents cause a lot more problems than provide value. They just get in the way. Agents like to sale themselves as "protecting" you in negotiations. But they negotiate how they like to negotiate and for their goals. One agent got sick during negotiations and that screwed up that deal.

@@nextdimension4071 I don’t think anyone is saying real estate agents are lawyers but a good agent can keep you out of legal trouble. Not sure what doctors have to do with anything. They are algorithms for the pharmaceutical industry but that’s a different discussion.

real estate agents suck. bunch of sleazy used car salesmen providing almost zero value. They should be banned. Let us buy and sell in peace. we do so for EVERYTHING else but nooooooo for a real estate deal we have to get some fool forcing us to pay tens of thousands who does NOTHING but open a door for us or w/e.. pathetic.
