At this point, you’d have to call in the crime scene cleaners to do a haul out, demo it down to foundation/studs/subfloor/roof, and decontaminate the rest! Basically, a fresh start inside and out due to rodents and damage.

It is so concerning that people could really be living in that filth.😳 Nope. So much work to be done, and the hoard could be hiding even worse issues. $8k is a great deal though, depending on the value of the area. Just a whole lotta work.

Well, I am afraid to say anything. From the front I was going to say run away. It appears the big bath was for someone who was disabled. A sunken tub...rare these days. It is easy to see that whoever origionally owned the house was proud of it. I saw the nice trimmed evergreen in back yard......Looking at the house from the back yard...it looks nice. Too bad there is not a back entry. The little room off the front room would make a nice bathroom or utiliity room. Maybe the room next to the big bath was originally a utility room...because all the hook ups are there and nice up top cabinets. The upstairs rooms are a decent size and descent walk in RANDOM closets and a not scrunched upstairs bath. The biggest negatives that I see is all the junk and excrement. probably cheaper to replace drywall. Also that drainage issue and parking. Someone would have to pay me to take it on. First would be professional cleaners and haulers and a really good plumber.

That nasty 🤢 bucket was their idea of a toilet I think. The TP bucket was behind it 🤮 . I smelled that stench through the phone! Light a match and run 😂

" As you can see the siding is coming off." Few years back I rented a house from a guy who owned a bank and the house had siding on it. Well the siding started coming off and I kept telling him about it time and time again. Time and time again he did nothing about it and the problem just got worse and I started storing the siding that came off in the garage. After about 6 months of bringing this to his attention I had had enough. I put all the siding in the car ( folded) and drove to the bank when he was in his office. I walked in and asked a teller I needed to see him and was told he was not in his office ( his car was parked out front). So another customer in the bank heard the exchange and was conducting his business while watching and listening. I told the teller it was about the siding coming off, how he has ignored me and such and the other man was paying attention to what I said. Now it was clear that he was hiding in his office and I was left with no choice, I walked out to my car and got the 4,5,6 about 10 to 12 feet in length eachsiding panels that came off and started walking to the front door of the bank. The male customer was coming out and saw what I was doing and held the door open as I carried the panels into the bank. He had a very large grin on his face and said the banker was a bastard and deserved what was about to happen. I laid the panels on the lobby floor and told the tellers " I have brought this to his attention for several months. Since he cannot respond to my calls or make the repairs I thought I would bring in the panels as they fell off. I will deposit more as they fall off." Within a week he made the repairs needed. But then the bastard put a black mark on my credit history.

The downstairs unit wasn't that bad, haha If you are desperate you could save the, Roof Windows Siding and most of the Doors. Looks like the Copper Thieves, haven't hit it yet, so that's a plus.

Would totally demo that house to the ground and rebuild. Am thinking of the hazards (health wise) and the rodents. Even if someone would buy. And rehab that house it would be really hard to get rid of all the odors and rodents within the place. No way is it worth 8K.

$8000 plus $10000 to clean up then other $10000 for demo clean up. that's $28000 before you get to see what you've got. If the lot is only worth $10000 to $15000. You've loss $13000 to $180000. Definitely a loss, walk a away. NO RUNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
