ebay coil pack not r8 you can always tell with real r8 coils as they have numbers and letters on top

Oh yeah, it’s lowered a bit, my stock shocks on my Tornado Red 2006 MK5, ride about a half inch higher than that. The rust may also be caused by tire rub fro it being even lower at some point. Nice looking car...hope that the boot is fully rust free, that is weird.

nice car, get main bits done like the cam follower, dv valve and the oil pick piped cleaned (main one as thats going to save your engine if it gets blocked as its very common on on mk5 gtis).

Thanks! Yeah it’s definitely all on the list. Ive bought the pickup pipe to be done with service :) Health check and dyno video will be done this week, had a look at cam follower on that and seems ok 👌

More than likely stage 2 with the r8 coils ram air and pcv delete

That would be awesome, it definitely feels a bit down on power at the moment but will check that out when I take it for a health check in a couple weeks!
