Beautiful books in there! Man, seeing that Dark Knight number 1 9.8...... I still remember picking that up off the rack at my local comic shop - I was not a DC guy, but I knew about Frank Miller due to a friend collecting his Daredevil run, plus another friend had lent me Ronin which I loved... and I was smart enough to buy it. Still have it tucked away (got it signed by Miller in the 90s at a con when the LEGENDS Dark Horse line was released).

You need to do a video breaking down the price a slab sells on whatnot vs fmv. I bet it would be closer than you think. Because you may lose a few bucks on big books, but I’ve seen some random 9.6 moderns you have that are like $50 fmv sell for 100+ sometimes.

Also, I think GPA is overrated. 1 sale and last sold is sometimes a crap shoot. 1 good deal or bad deal on a seldom sold book/grade in an underpublicized sale and the whole fmv is screwed. Not to mention places like your website/Facebook/whatnot/insta where the vast majority of books are sold are not accounted for...I think it keeps the market down

Hey Bry I recall your shop also sells new back issues. I was curious are the margins on them very small? I know cover prices has increased over the years and the average is around $3.99-$4.99 per book. The one comic book shop I go to always has some left over back issues released earlier this year and throws them in his $1 bin. I’m thinking he is selling these books at a loss.
