Get a molex tool, it pushes the wire out of the connector so you can re-install it later, just tape the small metal piece on the end

I googled it out of curiosity and it looks like this bike has a top speed of 47 mph when you cut the wire to bypass the limiter. That's over twice as fast as you were going on the bridge. Would love to see you go zoomin. Stay safe

The difference between Eco and Sport mode isn't that big if you are riding the way he is. In stop and go riding, where you are constantly going from 0 to 25mph and down to 10 and up to 30, Eco is just about as useful as Sport because you aren't ever fully gunning the throttle in Sport, knowing you have to back off the throttle in literally 1 second. For me, when I'm on road in traffic, I'm almost always in Eco

The bike is programmed to not go over a certain speed for laws but if you cut the wire it stops the speed restriction making it faster

What does the assembly manual say about footpeg installation? I met a gentleman who had 2 sur ron X. 1 had a stabilizer bar bolted between the footpeg brackets to counter flex them as to prevent breaking a bracket. Sir I don't see your bike having this on and it needs to be. Because his sur ron #2 was this example of not having that bar in place and the kids he said hit a hard landing with it and just snapped the bracket. Now I'm sure your bike came with this and recommend you find it to put it on. You can learn from your own mistakes but that can sometimes take a couple extra tries. Now when you learn from somebody else's mistake you get that instantly, I'm passing it along.
