What you say at about 26:00 is exactly why I just bought the ERP SS instead of one of these. I used to race mountain bikes and put thousands and thousands of miles on my 93 FZR 600 road bike. I know that the Light Bee is better to start with, but I have the patience and control to work my way into what the ERP SS has available. The idea of paying almost as much for the LB and then more than likely wanting to upgrade the power train within a year or so hurt the wallet too much. Besides that, I like jumping into the deep end of the pool! I'm having an absolute blast on my bike! The upgrades are already starting to roll in and the miles are quickly adding up. I'm running about 10-15 miles each day just to break it in.

@@ChaseTemp18 There's an issue with a lot of the fork seals blowing, which happened to me. I would say the biggest issue right now is the lack of available stock parts though. The forks are crap, but they do work. They are selling a lot of these things and I believe they use some cheaper parts to compensate for the drivetrain (handlebars, pegs, forks), which means that some of those cheap parts are going to be more likely to break. It's not a huge deal if you're cool with upgrading, but if you want stock parts it might be an issue for a bit. I'm betting they'll get it together before too long though. Right now I'm also seeing guys break the throttle and not be able to replace them because E Ride is supposedly waiting for a huge shipment of parts. That means that the forks, throttles, and displays are really hard to find. Guys are starting to figure out what Sur-Ron parts will work though, so it's just a matter of time. I'm planning on getting some of the EXT forks and rear shock before too long, but right now I'm just having a great time riding it as it is.

talaria xxx is hot trash... my buddy does repairs on surrons/talarias and other similar bikes and i cant even begin to tell you how mangles those bikes show up. and always from crashes under 20 mph and other non serious accidents that are not even half the abuse ive put on my surron. on one of them the whole suspension tube (forgetting proper name) was blown out and had frame damage. the guy didnt even hit anything just slid the bike. you get what you pay for but i definitely do not recommend getting one an xxx, i still havent met someone that actually likes that bike. better off getting a razor tbh...

Sorry, ERIDEPRO SS is above the LBX. Even for noobs, ERP is fine. Surron is falling behind in the class of LBX, MX4, ERP SS. Ultra Bee is great but the ERP SSis right there, if less, only by a little

SurRon don't need to step it, rather they need to find ways to make it even lighter. SurRon got popular for being... 1. street worthy 2. light weight 3. low cost Yes the Talaria Sting is more capable, however, it got bigger to do so. One step larger, and it's a motorcycle. The general public hates dirt bikes and are harsh on those who break the law.. Naw we don't need the SurRon to up their game, because upping their game means getting larger and we have the other brands for that.

The charger you had in the box with the USA is better than the OEM charger. It charges at 67 volts in 10 amps rather than 60 volts in 10 amps. So instead of taking three hours to fully charge your bike, it would only take two hours and 30 minutes to take two hours and 40. assuming you have a 32 amp hour battery. I have that same charger for my bike, and it's 32 and 1/2 hours. It's not fast. It charges for me. since the stocks throw on batteries compatible with 67 Volt Chargers.

I wonder what it is with the much higher price then the Talaria . Even the xxx version is around $1600 less . Talaria mx3 around $1200 less . The mx4 with much larger battery and power is around $600 less . What is it about the Surron ? I have never ridden either (to rich for me) but i like most , look to buy with savings in mind in todays economy . Curious is all

Surron no longer dominates the market. There are better bikes. Most people buy it because of the light weight, it’s very nimble, and the community. There is a big Surron community and lots of parts for the bike if something goes wrong or you’re looking to upgrade it.
