That bit with the wool pallets at the end was peak comedy. Made it off the farm with them, nothing went flying, nothing got embedded in the ground; went far better than I was expecting.

I would make a break in the Olive Grove about halfway up across the entire thing and use what was taken out to make one more row simply so that you can turn around and take full loads of olives over in a quicker fashion so you’re not having to run up entire rows to finish them off or backing up half way along the Lanks of one to get the last of the olives

8:50 Distance between production buildings don't matter with distributing, you can distribute across the whole map if you want to. 12:50 Taking loand in FS is not very expencive, so no need to worry about it too much. But ofc if you can avoid it completely it's even cheaper.

Could you make a small shed area next to your olive area to keep your olive machinery, i.e. harvester, wagon, tractor, implements, etc.
@lukas4866
@lukas4866 2 жыл бұрын
You could delete the chicken coop next to the cows and put the sheep there (maybe a larger sheep enclosure) and then have three chicken coops next to each other right where you built the first one. (This is my comment from last video, just in case Daggerwin missed it and since many people seemed to like my idea.) Edit: somebody also pointed out the fact that you could drive out of the cow shed more easily.

Great video! Buy grain mill first. Then you can make flour. Witch is used in bakery. And dont sell oats. Use them to make cereal and flour. Maybe plant cotton in one of your fields. You can use that in spinery to make more fabric.

Great episode Daggerwin. Looking thru the comments, you've gotta couple of very bossy viewers 🤣🤣 Suggestions that were already made that I'll endorse are selling that little trailer and getting the 82 Studios gooseneck trailer. It can also be bumper pull too if you'd like to pull it with a tractor. There's also a new auto loading van mod in the modhub. I've not had a chance to try it yet, but I've installed it. And your chickens seem to consume a lot of food, so maybe plant just barley or wheat strictly for the chickens, then you're not buying it at the end of winter. Things are a far shot from where they were just a couple months ago, great work.

Suggestion for the spinnery - make hot air balloon fabric. The balloons are as common a vehicle choice as are cars in Haut Beyleron, you'll make millions!

Yes, they're not quite up to scale on this are they? They're at least twice as large as what we see. But I can't say I've seen any of the new balers in the fields I've seen, just much much older ones. So maybe they've managed to make them smaller?
@JoriDiculous
@JoriDiculous 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheBiggRiggz "everything" looks kind of smal'ish in the game. Its just how weird the perspective is when you walk around. But yeah, you get bailers that are much smaller (IRL) then the one Dagger was using now. Round Balers are more compact. But also, the MF he's driving is pretty big too :)

I made that field my Olive Grove with a Factory, since it seemed like good location to put both. Slowly putting in the rows each year and using the excess field for Canola. Added a white fence along the side of the road for a nice decorative touch.

I found with Sugarcane is, use the big harvester with a trailer hitch. Use the pup trailer and dump bed from the TLX Pheonix mod and you can have a large capacity harvest without having to hire a worker. Sugarcane is hella time consuming but very relaxing. I used the single row harvester and a trailer on a very large field. It took hours but was super relaxing.

I've watched every episode of this series so far and it kind of confuses me, I'm 68y.o., farmed all my life (except for a 6 yr stint in the military) and i can honestly say i don't believe i've ever heard a true farmer (not a hobby farmer) say, i hope this looks all neat and tidy when i'm done, because there's always going to be bits, pieces, corners and slivers that get missed and its to time consuming to chase them all, not to mention extra wear and tear on the machinery and the extra fuel, but maybe its just me being critical, its your game play it the way you see fit

I've seen a lot of comments about the olive Grove not ending evenly...I think in looks good and a natural place for the shorter rows to end as the road starts to curve there...I get the ocd aspect of it but...enjoying every episode so far can't wait to see how far you go on this series!
@TheBiggRiggz

I've found that if you lay the first row down in shorter lengths, until you've reached your desired length, they end up straight on the grid of the map. Then the rest snap together. I use the 1.5 meter plow and have a worker drive one straight line. That's the line I go off of for my first row. It's a pain and time consuming, especially when you're OCD like I am.

I think under generators or something under the constructions, there is a tool that you can place at your farm to improve weather accuracy and im pretty sure its cheap. did you see the slurry spreader that is the paid dlc? also is your muck spreader causing some spawning issues for the manure in the pit?

Since you have two different diaries you should rename one to chocolatier, and the other one to something else, you can do that by going into the build menu, hovering over the production until the building turns blue, and on the help menu it will say select, and it will prompt you to rename the building, sell the building, or back out of the menu.

My recommendation: If you can sell the barley for over the cost of the wheat that you can buy at the store, why not just sell the barley and the sorghan and by the wheat? In the end you'll either make a profit or you'll be able to feed your chickens for longer off of that crop.

Hey random thought. Since i wont be home for another 2 weeks maybe you can test this out for me instead lol. Why not buy the hay barn and store the hay and straw in that instead? Then you wouldnt need the baler at all and you could use the barn to load the tmr mixer. I was thinking it would make things a lot easier instead of guessing you could just hit the fill button and stop when you want.
