Congratulations on the new Lightning, it seem you and me have a lot in common. I own a 2023 Lightning Lariat extended range (320 miles). I currently have 27,000 miles on it and love everything about it. I live outside of Austin TX and see a lot of Cybertrucks due to Elon’s Giga Factory is here in Austin and I hear a ton of complaints about his truck compared to Ford’s Lightning. I too made a trip to Orlando to see relatives back in February. I grew up in Orlando and also worked at Disney for five years back in the 70’s, it was a great place to work and to see how Orlando and Disney have grown is really hard to imagine. . I used to work in Charlotte after getting my BSEe from USF in Tampa. I now help oversee the power grid here in Texas. It took almost two days to travel from Austin to Orlando and for me traveling alone it wouldn’t be a problem but if I’m going to travel with my girlfriend, we’ll have to fly. lol she couldn’t handle traveling in a truck for two days. Anyways, congrats on your new Lightning, I believe Ford has a great reduction and I’m seeing more of them on the road here in Texas. Stay good and Go Hornets!

Johnson, It’s a beautiful truck. I bought my 24 Flash in Antimatter Blue Metallic on December 16, 2024 traded in my 21 Mach-E 4X Premium which had 284 MOR, but I travel 95 miles to work one way. I was burning about 50% of my battery and range. Since I had this truck I use about 25%-30% of my range. I live in Northern Colorado about 35 miles south of Wyoming and work in SW Denver. I work for a Ford Dealership so my trade-in and the Ford Incentives made it possible for me to get into this beautiful truck. The only thing I wish was the Phone as a key and the driver profiles which I was a disappointment from having it in my 21 Mach-E Premium. I want to do Northern CO to Orlando to visit family possibly next year or so. I did it in the Mach-E after I got it and it was an amazing experience. Met so many awesome EV people at the EA stations. Merry Christmas to you and your Family! 🎄🎁 Bob from Weld County, CO

I have 2023 Lightning XLT ER and I absolutely believe you made the right decision. That extra range is a big deal in my opinion. I dont have bluecruise and Im not sure any auto drive is really ready for primetime but Ive never had one so who am I. My cloth seats are amazingly comfortable and a number of folks have commented on it after a ride in the truck. Best of luck!

Thank you for this, you type A you. 5:30 a.m. Sunday, waiting on your barber?!?!? I do recommend keeping battery long-term maintenance in mind though. Great effort and hope you had a great time!

Why would you charge to 90 percent. It slows way down charging after 80 percent?
@ordinaryguyncАй бұрын
Depends on my location.

Should I charge mine to100% every night?

Depends on the range you need.

@@ordinaryguyncit also depends on the type of battery chemistry . LPF is ok, but lithium use only 80%-20%, unless on a trip then up to 100%. The app shows this…..
