I love my lightning. Everyday I start off with a full tank. Handles way better than a ice pick-up. And up to legal speed limits, nothing will be faster. The ONLY thing I miss is the sound but I like my motor whine as well.

Sounds like you went my route, from Raptor to TRX, Denali ultimate duramax, and now my 2nd lightning (after the depreciation). The lightning is my favorite, I miss the TRX sounds but that’s it. I leveled mine and bumped up the tire size, it’s on my channel.

I did the same thing. I ordered my Trx in 22 in before it came in I bought a 2017 Mini Cooper for daily. Had the truck almost 3 years have 17000 miles on it. I drive it on the weekends. Love my Rex !

I think it's smart to have a daily driver. My old truck was my daily too, but I'm looking forward to a more fuel efficient option!

Questions. Excellent video, I subscribed. A couple of questions. do you live in Texas where electricity is that cheap? I used to live in Texas and miss it. Driving around in your lightning on the freeways and in town, does it have a quiet cabin and do a good job of minimizing outside noise?

Interesting for me to come across this video. While not a TRX, I had a RHO on order. After seeing the EPA fuel rating (16 mpg) I knew realistically I’d get 14 ish. Now that the RHO is out, this has been confirmed. I drive almost 100 miles a day….at that low mpg plus premium fuel only that’s pretty expensive! I ended up buying a Lightning at 0 percent!! I think the RHO is 5% or higher right now. I wanted (and still want) and RHO so bad, I can easy afford it, but as a family man it just doesn’t make financial sense nor is it financially responsible of me to get the RHO My flash was 20k cheaper than the RHO I had on order, 0 percent vs 5percent +, and saving WELL over half on fuel costs

imagine if you got a lightning PRO for the $39,900 price at launch price. Some did. makes it a no brainer. I'm not into a $100,000 truck , but if you can get it for 1/2 that then it's a win. I have had my lightning PRO for a year and a half. and have 36,000 miles on it. my payment is $500 a month for an awesome truck. I have saved over $4000 on gas.

Why buy a TRX if you can't pay to play daily....you're opinion is economical, and you're not wrong if that's your mindset, but that's not the demographic imo. 🤔 (I have a 2021 TRX and wouldn't trade it for any EV vehicle).

Ok, your opinion. I've never driven a TRX, but I have a Ram with hemi. I can say that my Lightning is better than the Ram in every facet. Maybe you have a fancier Ram, but deep down it's still a Ram and the quality is trash, not to say other companies don't have problems, but there is a reason Stellantis is almost out of business. My question is since I've driven both a Ram truck and a Lightning, I can make an informed decision, have you driven a Lightning?

I'll agree with you. Buying a Ram truck was a terrible decision for me. Less than 5 years and 56k miles under warranty my oil pan rusted through, Ram wouldn't cover it. Ac clutch melted down and not covered, heat shield fell off, engine makes lifter noises when it starts not covered. Ever since I bought the truck, engine makes piston slapping noises Ram won't fix. Owned 4 Mopar products in my life and will NEVER own one again. You got a Ram, you got problems. Always hated Ford, absolutely love the lightning.
