Buying a Prepaid Tourist SIM Card in Turkey - Turkcell, Turk Telecom, Vodafone Turkey

This is a complete guide to purchasing a SIM card in Turkey with a review of mobile network prices, the mobile operators in Turkey and how to buy a SIM card at Istanbul airport.
I will look at the network coverage of Turkcell, Turk Telecom and Vodafone Turkey and run speed tests on the data download and upload speeds using the Speedtest by Ookla.

Vodafone Türkiye genel olarak sorunlu bir şebekeye sahiptir. 3G şebekesinde cihazın şarjını hızla tüketir. 4.5G şebekesi ise çok yavaştır. Sebebi ise Türkiye’de Vodafone’a ait çok az fiber altyapı bulunmasıdır.
