Thanks for this video. Wished we had this five years ago before we bought our apartment just outside the walls of Lucca. We had to do lots of research but managed it in the end so we travel to Lucca as often as we can

We are very lucky to be here. We are an Anglo-Italian couple but Enzo isn't from Lucca. We made this our home over 23 years ago and brought our family up here. We love the city and in the channel, we try to share hidden Lucca and the less-known countryside around. We also love try to highlight locals doing amazing things from farmers to artists. I not sure that it is more complicated than other countries. Some property transactions are very quick and straightforward others are more complicated if there are legal problems. We have also bought and sold without agents.

How interesting that your family are from Lucca. Though in recent years the city has become expensive there are some bargains to be found in beautiful villages in the hills. I hope your dream will come true.
