Need to learn how to do basic maintenance on the bus. Paying for a third party to change tires, jump dead battery’s etc in a old school bus is rough. I recommend you take some classes on how to maintain your bus as soon as possible, you will save a ton of money,

How do you legally drive a used bus from lot to destination? Many buy a school bus to convert to skoolie, but much needs be done to qualify as Skoolie, so what do you do in the meantime for plate and insurance?

The auction house was able to give me temporary tags while my real tags came in the mail. I worked with an insurance agent who deals with skoolies exclusively to make sure I was covered driving off the auction lot with the bus.

Bad tire or some crap on the road? Weird 2 tires on 2 vehicles blew within 2 miles

I think the bus was just worn tires. Since Justin was driving the opposite direction as me when the bus tire blew. No way to be sure unfortunately.

@@TechOut she’s been good to me so far. Only issue has been the bad tire and the battery when sitting for a while but that needs to be replaced eventually.

@@SeekingDiscoveryBus just a tip if you're in or going to be in colder climates get good strong batteries they make a world of difference starting in the cold.

The bus is a 2005 Bluebird with an international DT466E and an Allison 2000 transmission.
