Buying a Sim Card for Colombia at Bogota Airport

I was there in March 2023 and bought a 10GB Claro SIM card with unlimited calling at the convenience store good for 30 days, it was around $13 USD. As soon as I activated it I got an extra 12GB for free. As someone said you have to register it after a certain amount of time but I was only there for 2 weeks so it worked perfectly for me. The people at the convenience store don't speak english but a kind local who happened to be sitting in the seating area helped translate for me. thanks for providing the info on SIM cards at the Bogota airport!

Your information is spot on! I was there in October and bought a card for supposedly 30 days' worth of data. I only used it for outdoors/where Wi-Fi was not available and it lasted 6 days, oh well! The woman set it up for me no problem, at 1 o'clock in the morning. Thank you!!

why? Save yourself the hassle and just use an A.T.M, never accept the currency exchange rate on atm either, you end up loosing and paying more to the local banks.
