My nightmare about getting an old flagship Samsung is the screen because once those lines start showing up on the or screen burn coming out on it, believe me the whole would be useless because the cost of changing the screen is scary. So I'll rather stick to my Tecno camon 30s and co.

Hi Oscar, appreciate your reviews, I will wait till my contract has been completely paid up in Dec 2024 then wait till after Feb - March 2025 for the new release of Samsung Phones, i wanted the A55, but I will rather wait and see, if the "new" A56 (assuming that would be the next release), will be worth it, as you stated the price of the previous releases will drop, iPhones are just ridiculously expensive ,especially if you don't have the budget to afford it, also very good advice all round about buying used phones, what to check for , I particularly would rather check reviews "like yours" and then make decision , ideally it is best to get/buy a new phone. once again , thanks :)

old flagship for sure, don't burn your money with cheap garbage just because it's "newer" I've been dailying this s10+ I got for 300 bucks like 4 years ago and works perfectly. go for the 20 ultra if you can

I'm surprised nobody talks about this but I tried buying a used Infinix note 30 vip on FB market place but most of them are fake, but in the about it will still show Dimensity 8050 and other things correctly, how I found out is because they have no JBL branding and it's side mounted fingerprint with a large bezels, please Will it still work like the original?

Just got a Samsung S21 256gb Uk Used at Computer Village, and against my fears, the phone looks as good as new with no issues whatsoever, for just 250k. I guess this is probably luck, considering a colleague got the 128gb of the same phone for 300k and the phone overheats badly

But second hand stores test the phone when buying it and test it with u when selling it to you. They also have a warranty. Makes more sense than buying an overpriced bad phone

​@CRAB.. they are, it takes years for mid range phones to catch up and the old flagship equivalent will always cost less than the almost comparable latest mid range. Current A ranges best offerings is around or worse than s20 performance with worse screens and none of the flagship features. Whilst costing way more than a second hand s20.
